Passed the FAA 107 Exam on First Sitting Reviewed in the United States on July 25, 2021 I signed up for the video study course and ordered this book to go along with it as a study guide. I ordered the video course on a Saturday and started the lessons. Received the study guide on Thursday and used it to enforce the lessons from the video courses. Took the exam on Sunday 7/25 and passed. The exam I took had about half of the questions on sectional charts. No questions at all on latitude/longitude, 3 questions on METAR (2) and TAF (1). Five questions on the new remote ID rules and night flight requirements. This book would probably get you a passing grade, but you will need to supplement with the latest rules on the Remote ID, night flying and flying over crowds. The test took me about 45 minutes and only had to use a calculator on one question. Did not need the paper and pencils supplied by the site. The airport I chose to take my exam offered weekend test times.
